(More customer reviews)I wanted a switch to control a table lamp that is hard to access, and this is what's needed. I'd seen white remote extension cords in stores, but wanted brown to blend better with furniture. Though in the picture provided by Amazon, the cord appears to have the type of rocker switch that I'd seen in the store units, but the one I received has a push-button switch. I prefer the pushbutton, although it has enough play in it that it needs to be pressed in the middle. The button is oval and fairly long, a good thing, but if pressed at either end, the switch doesn't "lock" you'll need to press in the middle to keep the connection.
I've uploaded a photo of the button from the unit I received.
Pros:
Button looks better than rocker-type button
Button is easy to press (little resistance)
Cons:
Button has to be pressed in the middle, though it's oval and long.
