(More customer reviews)THIS LAMP IS NOT A THING OF BEAUTY; IT'S LARGER AND REQUIRES MORE SPACE THAN YOU MIGHT EXPECT; THE ON-OFF SWITCH WOULD BE MORE CONVENIENT IF IT WERE IN THE BASE. ON THE OTHER HAND, IT'S SUBSTANTIAL ENOUGH TO BE VERY STABLE AND THE LIGHT COULD NOT BE BETTER. IF YOU WANT A FINE, NEUTRAL WORK LIGHT THAT ALLOWS YOU TO SEE CLEARLY WITHOUT GLARE AT A GOOD PRICE, YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH THIS.
