(More customer reviews)I'm very finicky about my light. I moved into a place where the overhead light in the study flickers. My goal is to have a white, diffuse light. In recent past, I've relied on upward facing, incandescent floor lamps. I was sad when they did away the halogen floor lamps be wise they did a better job than the incandscents do. The problem with my office, though, is that there's no place to put a floor lamp (book shelves take up the space). So, my initial thought was to get some daylight table lamps. Imagine my delight when I found this lamp - halogen (the better light) and the right size. For a table lamp, it's a little big but it fits nicely on my desk. It's bright enough to light the room, without being overbearing.
So, I very much recommend this lamp. I'm thinking of getting another one for the living room.
