(More customer reviews)I purchased this Mogul to Medium socket converter to allow me to fit a modern CFL into the socket of an older (1940's) Mogul base lamp. The energy I will save using the CFL over the Mogul base lamp will be significant. In addition I will not have to replace costly, inefficient Mogul based bulbs. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality, fit and finish of this converter. It looks to be solid and well made. It easily fit into my lamp and is working like a charm. Highly recommended.
