(More customer reviews)Ok this is the 2nd review I've done on this lamp because the 1st, for some reason, didn't go through. The reason I gave 3 stars is mostly personal preference and a little manufacturing defect. #1 (maufacturer defect) - The switch that turns the light on, like any lamp, you turn it once and the light turns on, turn again and the light turns off. Mine on the otherhand, if you turn it once the light will turn off, turn again and it turns off, so I have to creat a stopping point in the middle for the light to stay on (hope not too difficult to understand). #2 (personal)- I think the smaller lamp should have a smaller lamp shade, but it doesn't so it looks kind of funny to me. #3 (personal) - I am not crazy about the lamp shade, in the picture in looks like they would be of a hard material but they are not. I could've returned but I chose to keep & the time it took to get to me wasn't in the quickest manner even though I was aware of this before purchasing. I do like the color and the fact that they are not so tall. One is used at my son's desk & the other on his nightstand. So all in all, now that you know a little more about it & the details, other than the minor defect (which could be fixed if I returned) than you can judge for yourself whether it is what you are looking for.(Updated review 10-20-10) I found that the lamp shade was torn (ripped from the ring) The shade is of paper material, so wasn't happy about that, I also didn't know when I ordered it. But the good thing about the company that I ordered from (Bellacor) is I called and told them my problem with the lamp & I even offered to pay to return this, because I didn't have the box, I just wanted a full refund. And I was pleasantly surprised that they just told me to keep & refunded me the full amount within 48 hours!
End result: Not so happy with the lamp, but Bellacor was very helpful & I would order form them again
