(More customer reviews)We purchased 2 of these lamps for the bedside after using them in a hotel room a month or so ago. They have flexible necks and provide sufficient light (25 watts of halogen power) to read by or can be dimmed to add ambiance to the room. There are 2 flexible sections in the lamp, allowing for many positioning options. Best of all, they freed up space on our nightstands for other uses.
The lamps were easy to install, requiring only a few wall anchors and set screws. We didn't end up using the instructions, as we were familiar with this type of assembly.
A kit is included to mount the lamps to a junction box for use as sconces or picture lights without cords.
The lamps we received went well beyond the Amazon product description, as they included a matching cord cover and a second bulb. Ours came from Destination Lighting in Seattle.
All in all, we are very happy with the modern appearance these lamps lend to our bedroom space. We would definitely buy them again.
One item to note: Amazon recommends ordering cord covers with these lamps. We did so when ordering the lamps and are now apparently stuck with the return shipping charges. Bummer.
