(More customer reviews)This CFL is the mini twist size that is good to use in lamps or light fixtures where space is limited (the CFL is 4.25" tall). The output of the CFL is soft white (yellowish hue) and it takes roughly around 1 second to turn with no flicker. When the CFL is first turned on, it is around 60 to 70% of it's full brightness. After, it takes about 45 to 60 seconds to reach it full brightness. So far this CFL is a good purchase, the only thing would be nice if it was RoHS compliant (less mercury used).
This CFL states it is made with T2 technology without explaining what that means. It turns out the 'T' of T2 means it is a tube type and the '2' indicates the lamp tube diameter, which is 1/4 inch. So T3 is 3/8 inch and T4 is 1/2 inch. Now that I know what it means, I still am not sure what the true benefits are, if any...
