(More customer reviews)I purchased two of these swing arm lamps for bedside use. One was totally unusable due to the swing arm not being able to support the weight of the lamp end. It was totally disconnected at the swing joints. Amazon quickly sent a replacement. We are using the lamps but are being very careful when we need to move them in any direction.
We love the looks of the lamps but the connections between the moving joints need to be stronger and more substantial.
Additionally, we found while there is a wattage limit on the fixture, this can easily be dealt with by using CFL bulbs instead of florescent.
