(More customer reviews)This is absolutely the ugliest, cheapest lamp I have ever seen in my life. In the picture it looks beautiful. In reality, it is awful. While the base is nice, the lamp shade is horrible, very cheaply made. The sections of the lamp are divided by something that looks like old brown scotch tape but is actually painted or printed on to the plastic. There is no gold leaf on the etching as appears in the picture but it is just clear embossing. Instead of the lamp shade being a separate piece, it is attached to the twin arms, one of which was broken in shipping, as well as the socket. Instead of a metal rim around the top of the shade, it too is painted unevenly. There is too much cording for the lamp pole, and there is no place to pull it through to extend the cord, and storing it under the base is difficult and makes the lamp stand crooked. Needless to say, it is going back immediately. Next time I will stick with Tiffany.
