(More customer reviews)This is a great lamp to finish your shabby-chic look. However, I will say it's short. Carefully look at the measurements. I will probably be putting it on top of something else so that I can get it to be higher as I have very high ceilings. However, I like the look of floor lamps that are elevated, so I'm happy.
I get a lot of compliments on the piece and it does add that luxurious feel. The coloring is brass, though it's very hard to tell in the picture. The packaging is very well done and includes replacements pieces as one or two of the glass will inevitably break in shipment. The arms of the various lights are also able to be moved. You can position the three either in 1 clump or completely separated out.
The light fragments beautifully. The light bulbs it comes with are small, but I was able to replace with those Green Energy ones. It fits a normal size light bulb, just depends on how anal you are about what type of light bulb this type of lamp should get. Personally, I think you have to be looking pretty hard to see through all the shimmer and glass and then have a real opinion, especially when the lamp is turned on. This lamp can light the entire room depending on what wattage you use. If you get the green energy light bulbs, then clearly you can amp up the wattage... but why? It's so beautiful. I also love that you turn on just 1, 2, or all 3. I have considered a dimmer, but because you can light 1 or 2 instead of the 3, you don't really need one.
Assembly is very easy. I would have given 5 stars if it was a bit taller. But for most people, they won't really care as much as I do with my high ceilings. If you like the look, I'd get this lamp!!
