placement, with the latter allowing for multiple angles horizontally, and side-to-side- tilt.
All of that allows not only for very versatile positioning of light, but also several different "looks."
(I think it could go with :"modern" or various "not-so-Modern.")
Controls--one for each side-- are in easy reach, feel very solid, and turn smoothly from "off" thru dim to brighter (with no
flimsy push button to wear out).
Finish is very smooth and attractive.
(Can tell I like this lamp a lot and have a couple of them--but the price has gone up since I bought the
first one a few years ago, and is now more pricey, like over $200.)
