The beautiful gold brownish illuminated shade looks nice, but if you try to put in a brighter bulb, it turns to a washed out yellowish shade (not as beautiful)...and it still won't provide enough light for reading, tasks, etc.
Well packed for shipping, but the workmanship is just standard...there were some chips/scratches, but these were on a part of the fixture hidden by the shade. You get what you pay for...a good deal, but not top quality.
