(More customer reviews)Purchased 2 of these lamps from IKEA @ $20 each (GREAT BUY!). This floor lamp is an excellent addition to ANY room (living room, bed room, dorm rooms). Small footprint. The switch is a step-on switch part of the power cord (convenient). Takes 3 model E12 light bulbs, again IKEA sells a 9W (40W equivalent) 2-pack for $5. I think the floor lamp caps out at 40W max, anything above is probably a fire hazard (i.e. 3 x 100W bulbs isn't recommended). Overall, an excellent buy. Highly recommended!!
